For that instant an eye, our soul, captures an image in nature. Still, moving, objects, images - we take the “snap shot.”
To hold, to contemplate and to let our imagination grasp that instant - let it go. Come back again and again to “capture it anew.”

Fine art photography |
 |
| An avid photographer with a passion for outdoor imagery, I enjoy the challenge of truly capturing the essence of my subject, be it a weather worn door or an exotic flower. I strive to combine the art and science of photography by evoking emotion, telling a story or posing a questions. |

Fine Art Photography |

First and foremost, I am an artist and fine arts photographer that works exclusively in large and medium film formats to achieve the level of artistic presentation that I desire for my images. I consider myself an artist who has chosen the photographic image as my primary method of communication and expression with the viewer. I view my role as a storyteller and my images as stories to be shared with the viewer. It is my task, through my images, to provide the viewer with an understanding of the story and to portray the artist's visions and emotions within that story.
In this manner, my images are as much of a Reflection of myself as each image is a Reflection of the subject of the photograph. |
