Floral, still life and landscape paintings.
Joy enjoys painting flowers and still life paintings of vegetables and fruits. She is fascinated with light and shadow and how they enhance the symmetry of flowers and the forms of fruits and vegetables. She is particularly interested in color and often intensifies and enhances natural colors to reflect her own interpretation of the object. She chooses to work in oils due to the rich and vibrant colors available in the medium.
